The hotel was recently completely refurbished. Therefore the old reviews should not count anymore. Room was small but average for Singapore.

Rooms are clean and enough for 2-3 people. Good wifi connection. Staff are very accommodating. They had our towels and toiletries changed everyday. They also refill complimentary coffee/tea when we requested.

ibis budget Singapore Ruby is located in Eastern Geylang, a 10-minute walk from Aljunied MRT Station. The room was very clean and has everything I needed, the area was fairly okay with a lot of late night restaurants, and kind of connected with the buses.

I didn't know why the other rate the hotel so bad, honestly my stay here is good enough and comfortable, staying for 3 night with 6 of my friend (we booked 3 room) i stayed at first floor, the air conditioner work perfectly, the bed is comfy, the bathroom is acceptable and the staff lady whom i met on the first day is nice, soo i can say that my experience on staying here is good enough

Good location in terms of public transport; very close walk to a nearby bus stop (about 2-4 minutes walk) which is in front of a 7-Eleven. Decent for what we paid for since it was a last minute trip, and it was fairly comfortable. Our room looked older than the listed, however the rooms are clean. Air conditioning and water heater worked well, and the rooms had some packaged drinking water and toothbrush/toothpaste provided for free. Our bathroom came with a bathtub which was a pleasant surprise. Their check-in was still open until late at night (we checked in at 11.30pm) and the staff was happy to help us even then.
