Very close to the airport. The staff were helpful. It was newly refurbished so everything was brand new and clean. Hardly anyone was there it was nice and peaceful as it was their week opening.

Its a beautiful little guesthouse in the center of Somma Lombarda, it has two rooms with bathrooms and a shared kitchen ,and its all been done soo nicely ,and its only a few minutes walk from the train station where trains go directly to central Milan(Porta Garibaldi) in 40 minutes and Lake Maggiore also in 40 minutes among other places,you can get picked up from the airport anytime day or night

I have visited 102 countries all around the world but I must say that the couple who hosted were the best and nicest hosts I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I was provided with a very cheap shuttle service to the airport at 5 am.

We had a wonderful lunch at Bar Enoteca. The owners could not have been nicer, and although they spoke little English, we communicated well. The wife made us wonderful sandwiches and her husband pulled out a map of Italy and was telling us about local wines. They were delightful! We had great gelato afterward right across the street but can't.

I'm sure it is a nice place for someone that likes peace, nature, woods, etc, as this place was in the middle of nowhere in from of a dam. Unfortunately, I needed convenience, and expeditions service as I only need to relax for the night before heading to the airport at 5:00 AM. It is a small town next to the Malpensa Airport (the main Milan airport). This place is suitable for flights connections, not really a touristic place to visit unless you are crossing the alps (Switzerland) and you need to stop one night to take a break.

Trip to the hotel from the airport was a maze through many streets. Glad I wasn’t driving it! People at Tre Leoni were outstanding! The ristorante had delicious food! Mathilda and Ricardo were wonderful to work with!

This was a beautiful last night in Italy.
This was a beautiful last night in Italy. Our room was not quite ready when we arrived and the very accommodating reception staff offered us beverages and gelato while we waited for a brief time. Staff was exceptionally friendly and was graciously patient with our basic Italian. The location was quiet, relaxing, and authentic (not the least bit touristy). Dinner was the best meal we had in Italy; mozzarella made on the premises from their own cow's milk, vegetables from their garden, steak from cows they had raised. Contrary to other reviews I have read, the prices were unbelievably fair for the quality of the food presented and compared with prices in the city. The accommodations were simple but comfortable. The free shuttle to Malpensa was prompt and efficient. It took less than fifteen minutes to get there.CarolynUnited States

Short walk to the train station and cheap trains to Stresa and other Lake Maggiore destinations. Lots of restaurants nearby and the town of Somma Lombardo is beautiful. Bathroom facilities were okay, self catering facilities were adequate. AC kept the room nice and cool until the last night that it started leaking water! We turned it off to be safe but otherwise it was still working. Overall good value for money. We would stay again.

It has great views of a dam and river in a green lush setting. Good: Simple and clean with great views and reliable driver to get us from hostel to airport and back (each way 20 Euro) even early in the morning. Bad: Air traffic nosie at night (shutting the windows helped), foot traffic late at night (which was odd to have in such an outway place). Overall, we enjoyed this unique expience.
