GORGEOUS GORGEOUS! This is the epitome of Lake Como. Their grounds are on a botanical garden with wonderful photo opportunities. The room was large with a great view of the lake. They gave us a thank you package upon checkout and booked the shuttle to the train station for us.

Great amenities. Full kitchen including dishwasher and laundry. Large patio, partially covered and rest in full sun. Large and comfy apartment. Location next to train station was convenient, but a lot of foot traffic from about 10 AM until 7 PM or so.

The location was planning perfect. Varenna is beautiful lake town with excellent views and a perfect jumping off point for the lake. Hermes was an amazing host and wonderful person. We loved our stay and will definitely come again.

Ideal location for visiting other towns on the lake, Bellagio, Menaggio & Tremenzenno all a short distance away. Ferries are frequent & very punctual. One hour train ride into Milan, not that frequent so check the times.

Don't miss Villa Monastero! Lovely gardens walking along the lakeside and tours inside were only offered on weekends. Check hours before going. A few restaurants within walking distance of the ferry. Bar Moto has spectacular views from the water.

Easy walk about town.
Easy walk about town. Wear good walking shoes steps are steep and not always a handrail. Beautiful gardens and scenery. Easy hop on a ferry to go to the other towns. Hike up to the castle is 30 min. I would have felt more comfortable with a walking stick. Make sure to have water.

Picturesque and just charming. Loved the waterfront, walking on the bridge, flowers, vibe and restaurants on the water. Ferry efficient and pleasant, easy to access other towns. The place was very clean and well kept. Just a 15 minute walk to Varenna restaurants and ferry. Great location!! Francesca was extremely helpful and picked us up from the train station. She gave us great recommendations and suggestions during our stay. It was our first visit to the area so her guidance was very much appreciated!! We also appreciated her checking in from time to time to make sure we were ok and comfortable.

Giulia the host was very helpful, I was unwell during my stay and she fetched me pain killers. The rooms are cosy, wonderful comfy bed and spacious bathroom and great shower. The views from the balcony in the common area are gorgeous and where breakfast is served from - a wonderful stay and location for exploring Lake Como!

The location a block from the ferry dock in Varenna was so convenient. You could hop on a ferry and have lunch in Menaggio or Bellagio then return to Varenna before dark.
