The building oozed charm with a stone stair case to the upper floor and shutters on the window. The staff was outstanding, they did everything possible to make us feel at home including a take away breakfast when we left early to catch our train. The friendly neighborhood ambiance of the bar/restaurant also was wonderful for an evening glass of wine

Wednesdays in April are not good when wanting a decent evening meal, very little choice but Friday night much better as everyone was open. Merizzi by the station on the corner of the main road does fantastic good.

We enjoyed wandering around the older parts of town. The cathedral was beautiful and open to view inside. The entire town is walkable, no need to hire a car. There was a variety of places to eat and drink. The location of the train station made it easy to come and go.

Tirano is a very nice town.
Tirano is a very nice town. It is very well connected with other parts of Italy by train. Also, the main attraction is the Bernina Express, which departs hourly from the Swiss Train Station, which is opposite the TrenItalia train station. What a gorgeous little town right by the rushing river.
What a gorgeous little town right by the rushing river. Fascinating buildings and great food ( had a great pizza at LETI DI PILONI AXEL by the station. Only stayed overnight after coming from Chur on the Bernina line then on to Rome but could easily have spent a week here. Everything walkable.

Lovely town in the valley, surrounded by beautiful wooded mountains. The old town is great and the connection to the Rhaetian Railway and the beautiful Bernina line are not to be missed! We particularly liked the breakfast. It was served in the Merizzi restaurant, just round the corner. The options were not great but it exceeded our expectations from a B&B. Overall we enjoyed our (1-nigh) stay. We were in Tirano to get the Bernina Express to St Moritz, and this accommodation is in walking distance from the station - very convenient. ***Bonus point: try ice creams in nearby Gelateria Lollipop, fabulous!***

The host was very friendly and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The location is ideal, about 2-3 mins walk from the train station which is perfect for catching the Bernina Express as well as exploring Tirano. The breakfast was provided in the host’s restaurant. There was a good selection of food and the cakes on offer were delicious! We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.

The hotel is new, ultra- modern , nice and interesting design, very highly recommended. Tidy clean, they thought to every little detail, even a coffee machine in room. We hope to return very soon, the area offers a lot of possibilities to see the best of nature in Italy and Switzerland.
