This is a lovely hotel and the staff are very helpful. The view from the room was fantastic and the rooftop patio extraordinary. It was a 20-30 minute walk into Bellagio depending on whether you were going down the hill or back up. During the day time, if staff are available, they are happy to give a lift in the hotel car, into Bellagio.

The hotel is in a fantastic location in the heart of Bellagio with everything you need within a few metres. The ferry terminal and ticket office are opposite the hotel entrance. There are some very nice restaurants and places to have a drink nearby. The rooftop terrace at the hotel is a great place to chill and enjoy a drink. Breakfast was great too with a wide selection to choose from and beautiful views of the lake and mountains from the first floor restaurant.

Location and view is great, quite and walking distance to all the restaurants and embarkment.
Hotel’s crew is exceptionally professional, polite and helping. We were staying with small kid and a dog and enjoyed it very much. Breakfast was very good, their omeletes are the best. Also hotel is in very good condition. Was surprised that it’s 4 stars and not 5.

The property was in a perfect location, 15 minute walk from the main town and with lots going on around it. Restaurants, supermarket, pool all in walking distance. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had interconnecting rooms which were perfect for a family of 4 with 2 children. This meant we had 2 balconies, 2 bathrooms and plenty of space.
The hotel has a lovely dog who both my children looked forward to seeing each time we returned/left the hotel.
Wonderful breakfast each morning with plenty to choose from. We had a fantastic stay here.

Bellagio was well worth the visit. Lovely restaurants, cafes and shops. Lots to see and do. Be prepared to walk a lot. Downside- very hard to find public toilets. One has to pay to use a restaurant toilet or to have been dining there. Also, taxis are very hard to find. Ferry lines for payment are long. Tried to buy online but booked out.

We had a very bad experience at Como lake. because the employees in the ferry company went on a strike at 12 noon until 5 PM, and we were stranded on our first stop ( Varrena). All the private boats and water taxis refused to transfer anybody. So we had to take a taxi to return back to our hotel in Bellagio which took almost 90 minutes to reach while its not more than a 15 minutes ride by the ferry. So unfortunately these employees have spoiled our one day vacation to Como, because they could have informed us about the intended strike before we bought our circulation ticket, we could have changed our plans.

Bellagio is such a cute town.
Bellagio is such a cute town. I recommend staying there just for a day and then visiting the other small towns around it with the ferry. It is quite expensive compared to other cities but the landscapes and views are worth it.

Bellagio was by far the best village/town to stay in on Lake Como. Shopping, restaurants, bars, cafes were excellent. The streets were fantastic, and very photographic. Ferries were easy to catch to other parts of the lake. Sitting outside the Sports cafe bar near the church as a daily ritual to sip caffe or a Aperol Spritz.

Bellagio has the perfect location in Lake Como in order to visit other places around the lake. It is very picturesque and unique. It is much better than Como to stay during your trip since it's not a big town but rather a very beautiful village. The only problem is the road leading there, which is rather narrow, but this is the case for the whole of Lake Como. The alternative is moving around by boat.

The restaurants and bars and narrow lanes were great.
The restaurants and bars and narrow lanes were great. The lanes are mostly steep climbs so be fit or stop in a bar half way! Just out of town is the Alle Darsene di Loppia, very good restaurant.
Cars are generally excluded from the town centre so if you have your own car you need to make sure you can get to your accommodation. And if you have a car you need to be bold when driving, because the local Italians can fit a car through a tiny gap, at high speed, and you must do the same to get anywhere. Trust them and enjoy the ride!
The ferry trips around Lake Como were great - you can explore a lot of beautiful old towns from the ferry.
We visited 4 cities in Italy and Bellagio was our last destination and charming Bellagio offered the best BREAKFAST experience! We are so glad we included the breakfast option because it was DELICIOUS! The hospitality from all of the staff was absolutely warming and welcoming and beyond helpful. They helped guide us to different spots to eat, which villas to take, the ferry schedules and helped us schedule a taxi to the drop off location. We were so happy with our stay. Thank you to the entire staff, you made our trip more lovely!
This was our first stay during our 2 week trip to Italy and it set our standards pretty high. The apartment was so cozy, clean and spacious. There was a beautiful terrace outside and you could see the lake from a window in the living room. We communicated with our kind host via text, and she even left us snacks, juices, wine, and milk upon our arrival. The center of Bellagio would have been walkable, but it poured rain the whole time we were there so we drove our rental car into town. We would stay here again.
This Villa was INCREDIBLE. The price per value compared to the rest of the hotels in the area can't be beat.
It had everything we needed in terms of amenities. It was only a short 10-15 minute walk to the downtown area and to a grocery store, however there are delicious local restaurants right down the street.
Laura, the property manager was great/ easy to deal with and was always responsive. I HIGHLY recommend staying here for your stay in Bellagio - you won't be sorry! The property is just SO gorgeous.
Would highly recommend the Domus Bellagio if you are visiting Lake Como. The room was large and clean and we had a lovely balcony over looking the lake with beautiful views. Our host was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the area, she gave us some great recommendations for dinner and some helpful travel advice for getting around. The shuttle service to and from the town centre was extremely helpful as taxis are hard to come by! Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return.
Superb 360 views of Bellagio and Lake Como, secure private property and high quality accommodation, fantastic host - super friendly, welcoming and helpful and smooth check in meeting directly with the property owner on site. Highly recommend this property. One general tip to add would be to suggest hiring a car to get in and out of town as it’s a 20-30 minute walk into town including stairs as the property is high on the hill.
The view from the balcony is INCREDIBLE. I felt like I was living in a dream with the view of Lake Como & the rest of the town of Bellagio. There is a table and couch out there as well so we were able to hangout outside during our stay. The bed is very comfortable and the pull out couch is a great size for 2 people. The city is also very walkable and there are many areas around for shopping & eating (all with amazing views)
The location was very convenient, a few steps from all the highlights of Bellagio, restaurants, shops, the ferry terminal, bus and train stop. The apartment was clean and comfortable with an amazing view. The landlord Klodian was very pleasant to work with. The Kitchen was equipped with almost everything and the mattress was super comfortable, unlike many European hotels. 🙂
The most wonderful place to stay. The accommodation was definitely worth visiting and the host Bruno was beyond amazing and helpful as I have rarely experienced before. The room was beautiful decorated with paintings and very clean.
At the same time it was very affordable and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s visiting Bellagio at Lake Como in Italy.
It had a elevator to access upper floors, and Air Conditioning!
Very bright and clean, with everything we needed (except shampoo). Bed was comfortable.
Access to a garden to relax or picnic, with a view of Bellagio and Lake Como. (A Short climb up a path )
We were met by Ida, and explained everything.

Hotel Belvedere is an absolutely beautiful hotel. We stayed for our honeymoon and had a beautiful room with two balconies looking out over Lake Como and the mountain - it was breathtaking! The pool area was beautiful and the spa had just opened the weekend we stayed and that was also lovely to relax in. The staff were so welcoming and all were very friendly!
Amazing location in Bellagio. It was close to everything but still far away from main crowds.
We did not really feel like going out as the property was everything we wanted in Lake Como.
The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and kitchen was well appointed for cooking. The rooms were cleaned daily.
Hotel with an excellent view of the lake and mountain in front of it. ⛴️🏔️ Quite convenient to take a ferry to various places in and around Lake Como.
Staff is highly polite & service, cleanliness is super. 👍 Room size is quite comfortable. 🛏️ #lakecomo #mountainview #ferry #polite #clean #comfortable
Breakfast was of high quality with many options
Hotel has several bars and restaurants overlooking the beautiful views of lake Como
Hotel is full of History with beautiful and historic ceiling decorations and intricate work that dates back to many years ago
Great location-million dollar view of Lake Como. We enjoyed a drink at sunset on the 5th floor roof bar each night. Easy walk to ferry, restaurants, and shops. Staff very helpful and arranged a covid test at the nearest site a few miles away.
Access to Lake Como to swim via the private Hotel joining the apartments
Access to Hotel facilities and easy check in and check out. Very clean and spacious apartments with fully equipped kitchens! Fabulous air con also. Great for a family.
The hotel is really nice and the room was very clean, well equipped and with a lot of space. Staff was absolutely fantastic and friendly. Great breakfast with a great view too! Would definitely return if we come back to Lake Como.
The location was very good as we were close to Lake Como, close to nature, we had a supermarket and a pastry shop very close. The owner shared with us the top restaurants and other places useful for our stay in Bellagio.
The location was absolutely stunning and perfect for exploring not just Bellagio but the entire Lake Como. We couldn’t ask for a better stay! You won’t regret it.
